The “Lee County Labor Day Family Festival & Redneck Games” will make its debut this year. The new event promises a day full of “food, music, prizes, and good natured foolishness”.\nThe Festival will be held at the German American Club on Pine Island Road in Cape Coral, Florida. Among the happenings scheduled are a Hot Rod and Classic Car show, an Arts & Crafts Fair,local business exhibits, lots of kids activities including The Balloon Guy, bounce house and games, a variety of food vendors, a beer garden, prizes, raffles and more.\nFeatured on stage will be The Skeeterland Band, famous for their foot-tapping Bluegrass music, along with other musical acts. \nThe highlight of the day will be the Redneck Games, which is where much of the good natured foolishness comes in. “Rednecks” are famously unpretentious and creative, and so it is with the Redneck Games – a sort of mini-Olympics on the down-low.\n\n
