Time is running out to purchase tickets to the 5th Annual Boots and Boogie Bash to be held at Grey Oaks Country Club on Saturday May 5, 2012. The Friends of Foster Children (FFC) are holding their annual fundraiser with the help of the honorary chairs. Sharon Treiser and Vicki Tracy, committee members, donors and sponsors. The western themed event will raise critical funds needed to enable the FFC to improve the lives of more than 800 Collier County children who are removed from abusive and neglectful homes each year. The night will include a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, dancing to the Kenny Flint band, a Texas style down-home Boots and Boogie Bash dinner prepared by the chef from Grey Oaks, and a lot of surprises! Plus, there will be a Coral of Dreams, a place where dreams become a reality for local foster children. Boots, with hand written requests on them from the children, are scattered about a hay-filled coral.
